Fine line tattoos that are smaller than 4in x 4in are typically charged at a flat rate instead of hourly. These delicate designs are often complex in nature, and take a lot of time to master the skills required to execute.
Many shops do not offer this style. but have no fear- this is our specialty!
We specialize in script and handwriting tattoos. Each of these pieces is truly unique with a variety of styles of script we offer.
Many of my clients have gotten memorial tattoos to remember loved ones who have passed. Handwriting tattoos, designs that incorporate ashes in the ink, whichever way you chose to honor those who have passed we promise to make this experience extra special!
Ash is infused into the ink with a witch-hazel solution that does not compromise quality or safety during the healing process.
Tattoos that are larger than 4.5in x 4.5in, full color or are artistically complex will be charged at this rate. This includes tattooing time only. We do not charge for designing, minor changes to initial design or stencil time. However, full re-designing is subject to rescheduling fees if necessary. Typically a 2hr-3hr session is standard.
All cover-up or reworking projects are required to have an in-person consultation prior to booking the tattoo appointment. These types of tattoos are tricky and often require multiple sessions to reach the desired results. Be prepared to trust the process.
Black work is a very physically strenuous style of tattooing for both client and artist. Our max time for these types of session is 4hrs a sitting.
Full day sessions are perfect to get a lot of work done in a short time span. Typically booked for sleeves, back pieces and those who want a bunch of tattoos done at once. We typically spend about 8 hours in the shop during these appointments. This is for a single client, and not a tap-out session. Day sessions for a maximum of 2 clients are available at a varying rate.
We offer Numbing Cream as an additional service. This is required for most larger scale color projects. Any client who has applied their own numbing cream at home will be unable to proceed with the scheduled appointment that day. We use Super Numb 5% Lidocaine cream and have a special procedure that ensures the effectiveness of the product.
Touch ups are available for $65 which covers the cost of supplies. If you are booked for another tattoo, supply fee is waived.
Deposits are typically 15% of the total cost of the tattoo and must be paid to book the appointment. All deposits are non-refundable. All deposits go toward the final balance of the tattoo. Please see our policies for more details on late-fees, cancellations and rescheduling.
Consultations are typically required for large scale projects, cover-ups, and reworkings. The $50 deposit goes toward the final balance of the tattoo. Deposits are non-refundable and required to book the appointment.
We recommend first time clients to purchase an aftercare bundle. These products are specially formulated for healing your new tattoo.

All appointments are scheduled a minimum of 48hrs in advance. Clients will receive allocated time with their artist to work together on the desired project.
Consultations and Appointments require a non-refundable deposit due at time of booking. All designs will be shown in-person on the day of the appointment and are not eligible to be shown prior. Any changes to the design will be made in person. Full redesigning and last-minute design changes will be subject to associated rebooking fees.
Each Client must put down a deposit for their own appointments. Deposits are not transferrable to other Clients. Deposits go toward the total cost of services. All Deposits are Non-Refundable
Clients who arrive more than 15 minutes past their appointment time will be subject to a late fee of $100. Any client who arrives 30 minutes late without prior communication will be rescheduled, previous deposit will be void and new deposit will be required to rebook.
Any No Call No Show occurrences result in immediate blacklisting from Blvck Widow Ink and all affiliates.
Touch ups are subject to a $65 supply fee. This fee is waived if touch up on work done by Blvck Widow Ink is requested during another tattoo appointment.
Appointments that are cancelled less than 72hrs in advance and not rescheduled will forfeit deposit.
Any appointment cancelled in less than 48hrs will automatically lose their deposit. A new deposit will be required to book. We have a 3-strike policy. If any client cancels their appointment with short notice (Less than 72hrs) 3 times, they will be blacklisted from Blvck Widow Ink and our affiliates.
Black-listing clients is never something an Artist wants to do, but when boundaries are disrespected- we must protect ourselves and our income.
Clients who are black-listed will receive notice once the ban is put into effect.
How does one get black listed?
-Cancelling their appointment with short notice 3 times
-Violating Policies
-No-Call No-Show (One Offense)
-Using Substances in our Facility
-Bringing Children or unfit guests
-Non-payment or late payment
And other unacceptable behavior.
ALL CELLPHONE RINGERS MUST BE SILENCED, and external media use only within headphones. Please refrain from taking phone calls during your appointment. If this is unavoidable please do so outside of our studio.
We do not allow clients to use or provide their own numbing products. Many products you may purchase online are banned by the FDA or contain harmful ingredients that could compromise the healing process of the tattoo.
Due to this, we have initiated a certain procedure in which we offer a 5% lidocaine topical that will numb the affected area once it has been applied to the skin and covered with plastic wrap for a minimum of one hour.
Clients are allowed to bring ONE additional guest with them to their appointments. All guests must be 18 Years of age or older, and able to conduct themselves in a respectful manner while maintaining the sensory friendly nature of our environment.
Clients who are currently taking certain medications may not be eligible to undergo tattooing procedures. These medications include blood thinners, ibuprofen, antibiotics, or any immune system compromising agents. Clients must refrain from using such no less than 72hrs prior to appointment. If this is not possible, physician confirmation of safety is required.
Any clients who are immune compromised or have a medical condition that may negatively impact healing such as blood diseases or disorders must have medical clearance from a licensed physician before proceeding with the scheduled tattoo session.
Saniderm is our preferred method of protection which is applied directly after the tattoo. Clients who have allergies to adhesives should let their artist know so they may use alternative aftercare methods such as Ink Beetle Derm Gel.
Saniderm is advised to be removed 24-48 hours after it is applied.
Our Magical healing balm is specially formulated by a team of Molecular Bioscientists to ensure the safety and effectiveness of our product. This Balm is unlike anything on the market. Thanks to our unique formula, you can say goodbye to the dreaded tattoo itch! Our recipe uses Tea Tree oil to stop the need for scratching right in it's tracks.
Clients must avoid UV tanning beds for a minimum of 6 weeks prior to tattooing. After 4 weeks, sunscreen must be applied when tattoo is exposed to sunlight for prolonged periods of time. It is advisable to cover tattoo with clothing.
Spray tan or self tanner must be removed from area prior to tattooing. Area must not be reapplied with such for a minimum of 8 weeks after the tattoo.
Do not submerge effected area for 6 weeks. Avoid hot tubs, saunas, or any kind of physical activity that results in sweat build up or exposure to harmful bacteria. Refrain from going to the gym for 7-10 days minimum.
